The Team:

Join a growing, developing, and international team with a very good working spirit. Our Paris-based team interacts with the Bank’s 3 lines of Defence and works closely with other Paris-based and global teams. This role offers exposure to senior management and provides various learning and development opportunities.

Role Description:

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our 2nd line of defence Compliance and Operational Risk (COR) team. This role focuses on enhancing risk oversight with an emphasis on data risk management, including BCBS 239 requirements, risk data aggregation, and data architecture. The successful candidate will ensure robust data risk controls and collaborate across enterprise and regional units on data governance and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure implementation of policies and standards related to compliance and operational risk management.
• Support development of risk monitoring and testing activities for data risk in international businesses.
• Contribute to risk coverage plans and execute independent risk assessments.
• Develop and maintain risk management reporting for governance and management routines.
• Assess adherence to BCBS 239 principles and compliance requirements.
• Evaluate risk data frameworks and methodologies for compliance.
• Review data architecture and governance structures against regulatory standards.
• Provide guidance on data risk compliance to front-line units and control functions.
• Prepare compliance reports for senior management and regulators.
• Identify compliance gaps and recommend remediation actions.
• Monitor regulatory environment for relevant legislative changes.
• Assist in remediation of issues and control enhancements.
• Review risk and control assessments and support audit and regulatory reviews.
