Job Description:

The company is a market leader in crypto exchange, committed to empowering individuals with crypto. We are establishing a leading Compliance function to support our growth. As our Compliance team expands globally, we seek an exceptional individual to oversee our Compliance responsibilities in France. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact in a dynamic organization.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Maintaining and developing relationships with regulatory authorities such as the Autorité Des Marchés Financiers (AMF) and Traitement Du Renseignement et Action Contre Les Circuits Financier (TRACFIN) to ensure compliance.
2. Collaborating with team members to identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks.
3. Reviewing and updating policies and procedures to ensure ongoing adherence to local regulations.
4. Staying informed about relevant laws and regulations and providing guidance to stakeholders.
5. Supporting the development and launch of new products while ensuring regulatory compliance to foster innovation.

Qualifications and skills:

• Experience in Compliance or Financial Crime within fintech or financial services.
• Deep knowledge of the French regulatory environment and experience engaging with regulatory bodies.
• Ability to communicate complex issues clearly.
• Fluent in French and English (written and spoken).
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, multitasking skills, and a positive attitude.
• Interest in fintech and/or cryptocurrency; experience or understanding of cryptocurrency is a plus.
• Strong academic qualifications.
