Vous collaborerez avec diverses équipes pour évaluer les risques et mettre en œuvre des contrôles de conformité. Ce rôle est essentiel pour construire des processus de durabilité qui protègent les valeurs de l'entreprise et répondent aux attentes des parties prenantes. Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 ans d'expérience dans des projets de développement durable.
  • Maîtrise de l'anglais et du français; espagnol ou portugais souhaité.
  • MBA est un atout.

Job Description

Sustainability commitments are at the core of LDC's strategy. Complex processes need to be put in place and monitored to provide assurance to internal and external stakeholders on LDC's compliance with its own sustainability commitments, whether regulatory (EUDR, Swiss Child Labour Due Diligence law), contractual (certification) or voluntary (zero deforestation, GHG reduction target for scope 1 and 2), with a risk based, data driven and collaborative approach.

Main responsibilities:

It will involve building or participating to the following topics when involving EUDR, certification or Human Rights :

Tone from the top / Tone from the middle:
  • Ensure and documents regular instances of management communicating on the importance of sustainability compliance.

Regulatory watch and advocacy
  • Coordinate with Sustainability, Legal and Platforms on their regulatory watch, whether directly or through trade associations
  • Build up internal and external advisory networks

Policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance controls and processes are embedded into policies and procedures issued by Sustainability and Platforms.

Third party due diligence
  • Ensure KYC is performed and documented on a risk-based approach, in accordance with relevant legislation.

Risk assessment
  • Define risk assessment criteria aligned with the higher risk commitments and LDC's geographical footprint, taking advantage of available information and / or external sources.

Training
  • Embed compliance considerations in Sustainability e-learnings and conduct face to face training.

Confidential reporting
  • Ensure LDC's EthicsPoint hotline properly handles sustainability / supply chain grievances

Public / external reporting
  • In coordination with other departments, actively monitor media, NGO reports and other sources to identify emerging risks

Investigation
  • Coordinate with Internal Audit and / or external audit providers to investigate reliable grievances and allegations.

Monitoring and periodic testing
  • Monitor and implement actions towards non-compliant counterparties
  • Build up automated screenings to identify abnormal flows or patterns

Education and experience
  • Agricultural Engineering, Political Sciences, Social Relations or similar
  • Master in Audit or similar
  • Experience in sustainable development projects or similar
  • Minimum 7 years experience
  • MBA valuable

Language
  • English - Fluency
  • French - Fluency
  • Spanish or Portuguese highly desirable
