Description du poste

We are seeking a crypto-passionate Compliance Analyst to provide advice and support on legal and compliance matters in the EMEA region, working alongside the global team.

The Compliance Analyst will report directly to the Lead Compliance in Paris. The main responsibilities include working closely with the Sales Team to conduct Know Your Customer (KYC) reviews and investigate new clients to facilitate onboarding, along with handling other regulatory, compliance, investigative, and crypto-native matters.

• Perform KYC/KYB due diligence on new onboardings, remediation, and periodic reviews based on a risk-based approach.
• Conduct investigations using internal and external sources/tools to identify potentially suspicious activity.
• Perform daily operational reviews.
• Prepare narratives for SAR filings.
• Communicate with clients and the Sales team to gather information and documentation for KYC/KYB/EDD reviews.
• Escalate issues to level 2 when information cannot be sourced or provided.
• Conduct screening checks using third-party tools to identify Sanctions, PEPs, and Adverse Media related to entities and related parties.
• Interact with Law Enforcement Officials and participate in meetings with French Regulators (AMF/ACPR).
• Participate in ad-hoc projects as needed.

Background and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree; Master in Law or Compliance studies is highly appreciated.
• At least 2 years of experience in Investigations or Fintech, preferably within the crypto ecosystem.
• Strong understanding of Due Diligence and Anti-Money Laundering/Counter Financing Terrorism/Sanction requirements.

Skills and Personal Traits

• Deep interest in crypto and industry knowledge.
• Strong analytical, communication, and pedagogical skills for working across regions and business units.
• Self-starter, organized, and capable of executing tasks under tight deadlines.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., ACAMS, CCAS, Chainalysis) are a plus.
• Fluent in French and English.
