Job summary

Anotech is seeking a Completion Engineer / Punch List Coordinator to support Mechanical Completion, System Completion and turnover activities across final construction, pre-commissioning and handover phases. You will work with Construction, QA/QC, Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning and Project teams to close punch items and ensure safe system handovers.

The role requires strong site experience, excellent coordination, and a thorough understanding of completion processes.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or technical qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Completion, Mechanical Completion, Commissioning or Construction within Energy, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, LNG or Industrial projects.
• Proven experience coordinating Punch Lists, Mechanical Completion and System Handover activities.
• Good understanding of Construction, QA/QC, Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning interfaces.
• Experience working with completion management systems such as EasyPlant, ICAPS, WinPCS or similar tools.
• Strong reporting, planning and stakeholder coordination capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced site environments.
• Knowledge of turnover dossiers, completion certificates and handover documentation.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Fluent French and professional English are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and maintenance of the Mechanical Completion and System Completion processes.
• Maintain and update completion databases and system status reports.
• Prepare and coordinate handover dossiers and completion documentation.
• Ensure completion records are accurate, traceable and compliant with project requirements.
• Coordinate system transfers between Construction, Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning teams.
• Manage the creation, tracking and close-out of punch list items.
• Coordinate with Construction, QA/QC, Vendors and Subcontractors to resolve outstanding issues.
• Monitor punch list progress and report status to project management.
• Organize punch walkdowns, inspections and re-inspections.
• Prioritize critical punch items impacting project milestones and system readiness.
• Interface with multidisciplinary teams to ensure completion objectives are achieved.
• Participate in project meetings and provide completion progress updates.
• Prepare KPIs, dashboards and completion reports.
• Support planning activities related to Mechanical Completion and Commissioning readiness.
• Identify risks impacting handover schedules and propose mitigation measures.

Job description

As part of a major industrial Energy transition project, we are looking for a Completion Engineer / Punch List Coordinator to support Mechanical Completion, System Completion and Punch List management activities throughout the final phases of construction, pre-commissioning and handover. Working closely with Construction, QA/QC, Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning and Project teams, the Completion Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring construction deliverables are completed, punch items are closed, and systems are handed over safely and efficiently to operations.

Position Overview

The Completion Engineer / Punch List Coordinator will act as the focal point for completion and turnover activities, ensuring the integrity of completion databases, coordinating punch list closure, monitoring construction progress and supporting the successful transfer of systems from Construction to Commissioning.
