LVMH Fragrance Brands seeks a Compensation & Benefits Director to design and drive the Total Rewards strategy for the Maison, ensuring internal equity, external competitiveness, and payroll balance across France and international entities.

You will lead global compensation policy, job evaluation, long-term incentive programs, expatriation packages, and benefits, reporting to the Global HR Director and advising the COMEX on compensation matters.

Qualifications

  • Higher education degree (Master’s / Bac +5) in HR, finance, business school or equivalent, with specialization in Compensation & Benefits and at least 12 years of experience.
  • Significant experience in C&B, ideally within a consulting firm and/or an international and matrixed environment.
  • Advanced command of Excel (modeling, payroll) and reporting tools / HRIS; strong data affinity.
  • Fluent in French and English (international and Group context).
  • Essential discretion, confidentiality, and integrity when handling sensitive data.

Responsabilités

  • Define and deploy the global compensation policy (base salary, short-term variable, LTI, employee benefits).
  • Manage job classification and evaluation frameworks (job architecture / JobMap) and ensure internal equity across Divisions.
  • Set compensation targets and ranges, building and maintaining salary and hiring grids.
  • Orchestrate the annual compensation review (ICR), salary review grids, and the bonus payout policy.
  • Manage long-term incentive and shareholding programs – AGP: eligibility, beneficiary tracking, mobility, and departures.
  • Manage employee savings and collective retirement schemes (PEE/PER, profit-sharing, incentive schemes) and employee benefits (provident insurance, healthcare, uniform/clothing allowance, company cars).
  • Manage international mobility and expatriation packages (housing grids, cost projections).
  • Develop payroll budgets and forecasts, produce projections, and analyze variances.
  • Consolidate and standardize headcount and cost data by legal entity and country for reporting.
  • Monitor KPIs and produce decision-making summaries for the COMEX.
  • Contribute to strategic workforce planning and model financial impact of HR decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with European Pay Transparency Directive and other regulatory obligations.

Description du poste

The Compensation & Benefits Director designs and drives the Total Rewards strategy for LVMH Fragrance Brands to strengthen the Maison's capacity to attract, retain, and reward its talent. They ensure internal equity, external competitiveness, and the financial balance of the payroll, while ensuring regulatory compliance and alignment with LVMH Group policies (JobMap, Pay Transparency, Rewards Policy). Reports to the Global Human Resources Director; acts as a key interlocutor for the Executive Committee (COMEX/CODIR) on compensation matters.

Job responsabilities
  • Define and deploy the global compensation policy (base salary, short-term variable, LTI, employee benefits) reflecting the excellence of the Maison.
  • Manage job classification and evaluation frameworks (job architecture / JobMap) and ensure internal equity across Divisions.
  • Set compensation targets and ranges, building and maintaining salary and hiring grids.
2. Campaign & Process Management
  • Orchestrate the annual compensation review (ICR), salary review grids, and the bonus payout policy.
  • Manage long-term incentive and shareholding programs – Performance Share plans (AGP): eligibility, beneficiary tracking, mobility, and departures.
  • Manage employee savings and collective retirement schemes (PEE/PER, profit-sharing, incentive schemes) and employee benefits (provident insurance, healthcare, uniform/clothing allowance, company cars).
  • Manage international mobility and expatriation packages (housing grids, cost projections).
3. Payroll & Headcount
  • Manage, monitor, and ensure the reliability of the payroll (France & International) while guaranteeing budgetary control in conjunction with the Finance Department.
  • Develop payroll budgets and forecasts (landing), produce projections, and analyze variances (carry-over effect, age-pyramid effect / noria effect, merit increases, mix).
  • Consolidate and standardize headcount and cost data by legal entity and country, ensuring consistency for reporting purposes.
  • Monitor key indicators (headcount, span of control, average cost, FTE trends) and produce decision-making summaries for the COMEX.
  • Contribute to strategic workforce planning exercises and model the financial impact of HR and organizational decisions.
4. Compliance & Regulation
  • Ensure compliance with the European Pay Transparency Directive and legal obligations (gender equality index, remuneration publication).
  • Guarantee the regulatory and tax compliance of compensation elements and secure contractual commitments (executive framework contracts, AGP side letters).
  • Conduct market studies and compensation surveys (WTW, Deloitte) to ensure a premium market positioning.
  • Produce key analyses and dashboards (payroll, headcount, C&B KPIs) and decision-making summaries for the COMEX.
  • Ensure the reliability of compensation data and contribute to securing the HRIS (My Beauty HR) and payroll interfaces.
6. Team Management & Development
  • Supervise, lead, and develop a team of 2 members, fostering a culture of rigor, precision, and innovation.
  • Set objectives, support performance (Rise), and organize knowledge sharing and best practices.
  • Ensure service continuity and the quality of deliverables across the entire C&B scope.
