Une organisation internationale recherche un(e) stagiaire en communication pour intégrer son équipe FABLE à Paris. Le rôle implique la création de contenus engageants et la gestion de la présence sur les réseaux sociaux pour promouvoir la durabilité et la recherche sur les systèmes alimentaires. Le candidat idéal doit avoir un diplôme avancé en communication, démontrer un intérêt pour le climat et être compétent en création de contenu numérique. Rémunération de 1,060 € brut par mois et 50% des frais de transport remboursés.

The UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) has been operating since 2012 under the auspices of the UN Secretary-General. SDSN mobilizes global scientific and technological expertise to promote practical solutions for sustainable development, including the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Paris Climate Agreement.

SDSN co-leads the Food, Agriculture, Biodiversity, Land Use, and Energy (FABLE) Consortium. FABLE is a global network of researchers modelling long-term integrated pathways for food and land-use systems. FABLE’s mission is to create a collaborative space to support local scientists through capacity building, access to modelling tools and data, and knowledge on effective strategies for engaging stakeholders and informing policy processes. The Communications intern will become an integral part of the FABLE team, actively supporting the strategic communication efforts of the FABLE Consortium by helping to create engaging content, improve visibility, and support the dissemination of key research insights, tools, and events. The role is ideal for a creative and motivated individual passionate about science communication, especially on sustainability, climate, and food systems.

Position responsibilities

  • Contribute to communications materials for the launch of publications and events, through the development of key messages and social media kits.
  • Develop and design graphics and videos to communicate science to broader audiences for internal and external communications channels.
  • Develop and schedule short-form content (i.e., infographics, short videos) for FABLE’s internal and external communications channels, including social media and websites.
  • Support website updates, ensuring up-to-date content.
  • Support the expansion of FABLE’s contact database curated to specific outputs to ensure an expansive dissemination of content based on thematic outputs.
  • Grow and actively support FABLE’s social media presence to enhance audience engagement and target key sectors.
  • Other communications or administrative tasks as requested by the SDSN team

Qualifications

  • Candidates must have the right to hold an internship in France (i.e., the ability to obtain a « convention de stage » from a university, which is obligatory for all internships in France). SDSN Association Paris is not able to sponsor visas.
  • Candidates should be pursuing an advanced degree in communications or any other related field.
  • Demonstrated interest in climate change, food systems, and sustainability.
  • Experience with digital content creation tools (Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere, After Effects, Canva, etc.) is highly desirable.
  • Experience with website development tools (Visual Studio Code) is a plus.
  • Proficient in content creation in social media (i.e., LinkedIn, Research Gate).
  • Able to manage multiple tasks, is well-organized, and works well both as part of an international team and independently.
  • Professionally fluent in English with excellent writing and oral communication skills.

Duration (dates and total time)

The internship is full-time, 5 days per week for 6 months, from October 2025 – March 2025 based in Paris.

Compensation

The Intern will receive gratification at EUR 1,060 gross per month plus 50% of transportation costs.
