SBM Offshore N.V. is seeking an experienced Commissioning ICSS Superintendent to oversee construction and commissioning activities for ICSS discipline at the site.

The role coordinates daily operations, verifies systems and equipment, and ensures adherence to HSSE and project schedules. You will guide field teams, manage changes, maintain records, and uphold safety and quality standards across the lifecycle of the project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or related field.
• Relevant experience in construction and commissioning within ICSS discipline.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor site teams toward on-time, compliant delivery.

Responsabilités

• Ensure construction and commissioning activities comply with approved plans, HSSE and quality standards.
• Coordinate and supervise day-to-day site operations for your discipline, including workforce and equipment management.
• Lead site inspections, tests and verifications of systems and equipment.
• Manage changes to plans or scope as project evolves and document progress.
• Maintain accurate records, progress reports, HSSE logs and quality data.
• Monitor schedule progress and take corrective actions to meet timelines.
• Enforce HSSE protocols and ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Mentor construction and commissioning supervisors and teams to uphold quality.
• Foster effective communication among stakeholders to support a safe, efficient project delivery.

Purpose

• The Commissioning ICSS Superintendent oversees and coordinate all construction & commissioning activities related to ICSS discipline, facilitating effective communucation between various stakeholders, ensuring they are carried out in compliance with the project HSSE, Quality and schedule requirements.

Responsibilities

• You are responsible for ensuring that all construction & commissioning activities of your discipline are carried out according to the approved plans, specifications and project schedule, in compliance with HSSE & Quality regulations and standards.
• You coordinate and supervise the daily operations of your discipline at site, including workforce management, material handing, and equipment usage.
• You lead the site inspections, tests, and verifications of your discipline's systems and equipment.
• You manage and implement any changes to your discipline's plan or scope of work that may arise during the project lifecycle.
• You maintain accurate and timely records of discipline activities, including progress reports, HSSE records and quality control data.
• You monitor progress against the project timeline and take corrective actions when necessary to maintain the schedule.
• You implement and enforce HSSE protocols and procedures ensure that all construction activities comply with company HSSE regulations and standards.
• You manage and implement any changes to your discipline's plan or scope of work that may arise during the project lifecycle.
• You manage and mentor construction & commissioning supervisors and team members to uphold high standards of work.

Education

• At least a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.

Experience

• Relevant experiencein the construction industry, combined with strong understanding of construction & commissioning processes in the relevant discipline and practical knowledge gained managing and leading teams to ensure smooth operations on site.
