Exyte is seeking a Commissioning Engineer – Instrumentation & Control in Aix-en-Provence, France. You will be part of the Quality & Commissioning team, leading commissioning activities for I&C systems and preparing related documentation. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in Data Center control systems, a Bachelor’s degree, and excellent troubleshooting and communication skills. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Data Center control systems design, commissioning, and infrastructure components.
• Working knowledge of BMS, SCADA, DDC, PLC, or DCS in data centers or other mission-critical environments.
• Familiar with commissioning standards.

As a Commissioning Engineer – Instrumentation & Control, you will be part of our Quality & Commissioning team, applying your expertise to ensure that all I&C systems are correctly installed, calibrated, and functionally tested, supporting a seamless and coordinated commissioning process.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

• Lead and execute commissioning activities for all I&C systems, including BMS, EMS, PLC, SCADA systems or distributed control systems (DCS) and sensors
• Prepare commissioning documentation including test scripts, procedures and reports
• Coordinate and perform functional, integration and performance testing, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
• Hands‑on experience with PLC systems, including programming, device commissioning, and control panel/controllers setup
• Experience in electrical testing and commissioning, including loop checks, point‑to‑point testing, and use of test equipment
• Competence in QA/QC processes and commissioning documentation, including start‑up procedures, punch list management, preservation, and engineering deliverables (alarms, setpoints, I/O lists)

Show your expertise
