Commercial Sustainability Manager

They are working with an international copper mining company looking to hire a Commercial Sustainability Manager to join their team in London.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks

• Develop and execute the commercial sustainability strategy within the relevant metals (namely copper, rhenium, molybdenum, and other precious metals).
• Represent the company at events, communicating the strategies developed.
• Work to find the commonality between the commercial and sustainability team.
• Direct projects to produce research and findings for the commercial team, mentoring more junior members.
• Role reports to the CEO.

Key Qualifications / Experience

• 5 years within a similar role in sustainability, understanding the link between strategy development and its translation to the commercial side.
• Must have a good understanding of ESG and its impact within metals and mining (namely copper, rhenium, molybdenum, and other precious metals).
• Experience working as a manager or mentor is a plus.
• Fluency in Spanish and English is required.
• Role is to be located in London, with a minimum of two days in the office.
