Job Title: Commercial Sales / Trader – Food Ingredients (Corn, Grains)

Location: Europe, Remote.

Job Overview:

Our client, a leading international agri manufacture & trading company is seeking an experienced Commercial Sales / Trader to drive business development and expand market presence in Europe. This role focuses on selling corn-based ingredients and other grain products, leveraging existing industry networks and knowledge of regional regulations, customs policies, and port relations. The ideal candidate will be a proactive dealmaker with a strong client portfolio and the ability to overcome trade barriers to accelerate sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to expand market reach within Europe.
  • Identify and engage with potential buyers, leveraging an existing client portfolio.
  • Navigate customs regulations, fiscal policies, and tax structures to facilitate seamless exports.
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings with clients and stakeholders to strengthen relationships.
  • Explore opportunities for new products and business ventures.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize supply chain and logistics processes.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies accordingly.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven track record in grain commercialization and food ingredient sales i.e. (bean pulse, chickpea pulse, corn grits, Non-GMO etc).
  • Understanding of European trade regulations, port operations, and import/export processes.
  • Established relationships within the industry, particularly in food ingredients and grain trading.
  • Strong negotiation, business development, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and develop business.
