Introduction

To achieve sales targets by understanding market opportunities and threats, and maximizing the customer experience when buying from Shimano.

The Challenge

SHIMANO France, a subsidiary of SHIMANO Inc. Japan, specializing in the distribution of cycling spare parts and accessories, is looking for a SALES REPRESENTATIVE – FISHING H/F in the regions 04-05-06-07-11-12-13-15-20-26-30-34-38-43-48-66-81-83-84.

You will be responsible for your sector, which will require traveling across the region to support retailers. As a sales representative, you will advise clients on market trends and Shimano products. Working with your sales and marketing manager, you will develop sales plans and add value for your clients to achieve sales objectives.

THE CHALLENGE:

  • Visit clients regularly to advise on Shimano products and distribute brands to develop business relations, create added value, and sell products;
  • Provide regular visit reports to allow sales management to monitor progress, record client and market developments for future visits or marketing actions;
  • Expand your client portfolio and inform them about Shimano to generate additional sales;
  • Develop an action plan for your sales area considering targets, historical data, forecasts, and planned actions in coordination with the Sales Manager;
  • Build development plans for key clients based on your sales action plan;
  • Attend trade shows and events to ensure strong Shimano presence and client engagement.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in a commerce-related field
  • At least 2 years of sales experience, preferably in an international company; ideally in the fishing sector
  • A genuine passion for fishing and good knowledge of rods and reels are essential;
  • Good command of spoken and written English;

  • Proactive attitude and engaging personality: motivated by results and customer satisfaction
  • Excellent communication skills to influence with convincing arguments
  • Strong analytical skills with Excel to analyze market data and build forecasts
  • Good organizational skills to plan your time efficiently and work independently.

What are we looking for?

Annual gross remuneration: Between 41k and 50k depending on profile
