About the Job

The Qt Company is looking for an experienced Commercial Account Manager covering the Italian territory to join our team. This position is based in Paris, France.

Your primary responsibility will be to engage with small and medium-sized companies in the consumer, medical, industrial, defense & space, or automotive markets. Your main goal will be to expand collaboration (upselling/cross-selling strategy) and cultivate strong relationships with key decision makers while highlighting the benefits of adopting the Qt Company’s portfolio (Qt framework, Quality Assurance software). This entails a proactive approach to account management and a consultative role in advising companies on how best to leverage Qt to achieve their business goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with C-Level executives such as Head of R&D, Engineering Management, Engineering Directors, Product Managers, and Project Managers within technical development organizations
  • Focus on prospecting new sales opportunities
  • Follow up on inbound leads from Marketing
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales proposals to prospects
  • Collaborate with sales management to strategize on target accounts for effective sales
  • Establish and nurture long-term, productive relationships with customers
  • Create a structured weekly calendar aligned with sales targets
  • Stay updated on industry trends, products, services, and competitors within the Qt Company's market
  • Provide regular activity reports, sales forecasts, and account plans weekly

Requirements:

  • At least 5+ years of sales experience selling software in the consumer, medical, industrial, defense & space, or automotive markets
  • Experience managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing
  • Proven track record of achieving measurable goals
  • Existing contact network in Italian companies is a plus
  • Ability to act as a technology advisor to prospects and customers
  • Strong rapport-building skills with existing and prospective clients
  • Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, organizational, and collaboration skills
  • Fluent in English and preferably native Italian, both verbal and written
  • Familiarity with Software Development tools, SDLC, Sales Training (MEDDPICC), and SalesForce is a plus
