Purpose of the Role

Under the supervision of your line manager, you will be responsible for developing sales (business volume, margins, customer satisfaction, market share, etc.) within your sector. You will lead, monitor, and develop the customer portfolio based on the sales policy set by management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop customer loyalty and increase sales through activities such as prospecting, customer visits, promoting offers, and managing the portfolio.
  • Identify customer needs (commercial or after-sales) and propose suitable solutions.
  • Build and negotiate commercial and technical offers in collaboration with internal teams (quotations, costings, bids).
  • Analyze the market and monitor competitors to identify new opportunities (markets, customers, technologies).
  • Update customer and competitor data in business tools.
  • Record opportunities and actions (sales proposals, visit reports) in business tools.
  • Participate in promotional activities (demonstrations, trade shows).
  • Assist in resolving customer disputes and collecting receivables in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Ensure compliance with customer commitments (configuration, delivery, invoicing).
  • Coordinate the preparation of financing applications with financial institutions when necessary.
  • Assist in commissioning equipment if required.

Scope of Responsibilities

  • Ensure sales development and achievement of sales targets in your sector.
  • Maintain high-quality data in business tools.
  • Manage commercial disputes and collections.
  • Apply internal and external compliance procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree (Bac +2 to Bac +3) in a commercial field and/or at least 3 years of relevant experience.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Commercial skills: sales, negotiation, customer relations.
  • Product knowledge: ranges, features.
  • IT skills and familiarity with information systems.
  • Basic proficiency in English (A2 level).
