Responsibilities include optimizing collection development, overseeing acquisitions and budgets, and guiding special collections while collaborating with staff and other libraries.

Responsabilités

• Supervises Collection Services librarians and staff to ensure the effective organization of departmental workflows.
• Quality control of bibliographic databases, including Ex Libris/ALMA, the repository, and OCLC databases.
• Manages day-to-day acquisition activities: planning, ordering, licensing, invoicing, receiving, and budgeting for electronic, print, and other resources.
• Provides leadership and coordination for developing a holistic collection development strategy to support teaching and research interests.
• Performs collection assessments, reports, and other metrics on the collections.
• Works to cultivate Special Collections and maintains current records.
• Keeps current with collection services trends via professional development and relationships with peers; advises on information resources.
• Participates in reference and instructional services
