Your day at NTT DATA
As a Collaboration Client Partner at NTT DATA, you will be our seasoned subject matter expert and a key player driving quota-bearing sales. Your primary responsibility will involve partnering with service teams to identify, develop, and manage service and outsourcing deals. Acting as the client's trusted advisor, you will use your consulting-led sales skills to engage with decision-makers and close opportunities.

You will work directly with clients at various levels, alongside internal sales expert teams and post-sale delivery teams, to ensure the client's needs are met. Your role includes building deep, long-term relationships with clients to convert them to managed services clients, leading to multi-year renewals. You will champion our solutions, ensuring they align with the client's business outcomes and drive additional sales opportunities.

A significant part of your day will be spent on client engagement activities, understanding their needs, and working with internal teams to ensure those needs are met. Whether you are guiding stakeholders through complex multi-product/multi-vendor solutions or ensuring our delivery teams understand client requirements, your focus on client satisfaction will pave the way for future opportunities.

Leveraging your expertise, you will also drive the drafting and implementation of managed service deals, including commercial modeling and negotiation of contractual terms. Your role extends to supporting the sales process from pipeline management to final closure, ensuring we deliver on time and exceed client expectations.

You will help create and support commercial solutions, design deals that meet both client and organizational needs, and ensure a win/win outcome. By maintaining high service knowledge and industry insights, you will have meaningful conversations with clients and contribute to our internal knowledge base, sharing best practices and client challenges.

To thrive in this role, you need to have:
  • Demonstrated experience in selling complex managed services solutions to large enterprise accounts, involving C-suite engagements.
  • Proven track record in structuring large, multi-year profitable contracts.
  • Experience managing the entire sales process, including contracting and understanding legal implications.
  • Deep Knowledge of cloud infrastructure principles, video conferencing platforms, and platform-delivered services.

  • Conversant with a business outcome-led approach to sales and basic cybersecurity principles.
  • Financial acumen to discuss metrics, revenue, and expense control.
  • Strong relationships with clients at all levels, with expertise in networking with senior internal and external stakeholders.
  • Client-centricity with robust problem-solving, business acumen, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to independently identify and qualify opportunities paired with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical or sales field.
