As an Agile Coach, their role consists of four stances: Coach, Mentor, Teacher, and Facilitator. Through these stances, they help guide individuals, teams, portfolios, and organizations in adopting and executing the correct Agile Ways of Working for them. Their role will cover the client's initial Agile transformation through the creation and support of core transformation teams (AWG / LACE). For organizations using Agility, they will partner in their continued growth and development during their ongoing Agile journey. They will also be key in both the development and running of their Agile learning curriculum, supporting people in all areas of the organization in their learning and development, enhancing this growth through initiating and supporting the running of training courses and role/activity-based communities of practice. Their strong Agile mindset, extensive knowledge in Agile, Lean, XP, etc., and proficiency in the different Agile principles, practices, and frameworks make them a trusted advisor for individuals, teams, and organizations.
Job Description - Grade Specific
A Senior Agile Coach works with clusters of teams, leadership, and management at portfolio, value stream, and program levels in the transformation and adoption of an Agile mindset, cultural and behavioral change. They also work to support the application of Agile delivery through LPM (Lean Portfolio Management), the iterative delivery of value streams, and appropriate scaling frameworks. They are also actively contributing to the wider Agile coaching community, supporting major Agile bids, and participating in the development and running of internal and external training as a certified trainer.
