CNC Setter Operator

About the Company

This market-leading engineering company operates an international network of facilities serving a wide range of industries, including aerospace, defence, automotive, power generation, oil & gas, construction, machine building, medical, and transportation.

Main Responsibilities

1. Set up and operate a variety of machinery within the finishing department (cylindrical / surface / polishing).
2. Carry out routine operator maintenance tasks.
3. Ensure the quality of work and level of production meet standards.
4. Finish components according to quality standards.
5. Inspect parts before and after processing to verify correct completion of previous operations.
6. Maintain good housekeeping (5S) in your work area and contribute to the overall upkeep of the working environment.
7. Operate safely and undertake necessary training to fulfill your role requirements.
8. Maintain effective communication with colleagues, managers, and other employees.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

• Previous experience setting up and operating manual machines.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Proficient in using measuring equipment and techniques.
• A team player with a 'can-do' attitude and attention to detail.
