Job summary

Tencent is looking for a driven law student to join its Cloud & Smart Industries Group as a six-month full-time intern in Paris. You will support the international legal and compliance matters, conduct regulatory research, and assist with contract review and translations.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in Law (or pursuing one) and excellent English and Mandarin abilities. French is a plus. This is a fantastic in-house learning opportunity in a fast-paced tech environment.

Qualifications

Strong legal research, analytical, and drafting skills.
Solid understanding of EU law and regulatory frameworks.
Proficiency in English and Mandarin; French is a plus.
Six-month full-time internship in-house.

Responsibilities

Support the legal team in advising Tencent Cloud’s international business operations.
Conduct legal and regulatory research on cloud services, data protection, AI, cybersecurity, and related regulations.
Monitor EU developments and prepare internal briefings.
Assist in reviewing, drafting, proofreading, and translating contracts and documents.
Prepare internal memoranda, research notes, and compliance guidance.
Organize and maintain legal documentation and assist on other projects.
