As a Cloud Native Specialist at Nutanix, you will be an essential part of our Modern Applications and Data Go-to-Market team. Your main responsibility will be to sell Nutanix's Cloud Native solutions and Data platforms through field and channel partners, and directly interact with customers in the region. What sets this role apart is the close collaboration with a Sales Engineer, ensuring seamless delivery of our solutions. It's an exciting opportunity to join a motivated team and contribute to Nutanix's mission of making hybrid multicloud simple while providing the best platform to run apps and data anywhere.

About the Team

You will report to the Modern Apps & Data Sales Leader and work in a fully remote setup, offering flexibility and convenience to meet your work-life balance needs. This remote work setup allows for a comfortable and efficient environment, promoting productivity and focus. The role requires full remote work, eliminating daily commutes and allowing you to work from anywhere.

This role may involve significant travel as you cover a large territory. Travel provides opportunities to engage directly with clients, build relationships, and drive business growth. Your interactions during travel will enhance your professional network and provide insights into client needs and challenges, contributing to team and Nutanix success.

Your Role
  1. Develop a strategic regional plan tailored to customer business needs to effectively sell Cloud Native solutions.
  2. Create, develop, qualify, negotiate, and close business opportunities to meet pipeline and revenue goals.
  3. Establish high-impact trusted relationships at all levels in large government environments to maintain territory health.
  4. Understand customer requirements and communicate them to our product, support, and executive teams to help build world-class products.
  5. Envision and execute marketing strategies to drive sales and increase brand awareness.
  6. Respond promptly to RFPs and follow up with prospects to ensure a seamless sales process.
  7. Lead and inspire cross-functional teams, including partners, to close new business, maintain existing customers, and maximize customer success.
What You Will Bring

Success in this role requires a keen ability to develop new accounts and penetrate new divisions within existing accounts. Nutanix provides extensive support and tools from Engineering, Marketing, and Product Development to help you exceed sales goals.

  • 3 to 10 years of enterprise sales experience preferred.
  • Experience working with partners in the territory.
  • Demonstrated expertise in selling Nutanix products and services.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
