This role requires a professional with knowledge of insurance and reinsurance actuarial techniques and metrics, and a working knowledge of Solvency II and accounting norms. Responsibilities include developing contractual wordings, analyzing complex problems, and communicating technical topics effectively to non-technical audiences. The candidate should have an interest in legal topics, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in multicultural environments.
Applicants should hold a Master's degree in Insurance, Actuarial Finance, or Law, with at least 5 years of experience in insurance or reinsurance, particularly in actuarial or risk management. The work environment is at AXA Group's headquarters in Paris, a diverse and international setting with approximately 1000 employees, fostering a rich cultural exchange.
Within the Group Underwriting Office, the candidate will be part of the Group Ceded Re team, which defines reinsurance strategies, analyzes risks, and protects the Group's balance sheet. The role involves managing internal structured reinsurance treaties, acting as the main contact for treaty structuring and implementation, and collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders.
