Location: Chantilly, VA

Overview: As a Client Executive, you will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing sales opportunities through individual ownership and coordinated marketing support activities with inside sales teams, field sales teams, and technology teams. You will use consultative selling tactics to educate customers on current IT technology and professional services, call on and close customers, and analyze agency missions, budgets, priorities, and programs. Maintaining positive relationships with customers and providing inside sales support for account management are also key responsibilities.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Develop and grow relationships with key decision-makers within a designated account territory.
  • Understand and communicate UNICOM's value proposition and service offerings.
  • Implement sales strategies to promote UNICOM's solutions and forecast new business opportunities.
  • Assist other departments in managing sales details for on-time product and service implementation.
  • Deliver presentations to prospective customers demonstrating UNICOM's products, services, and value.
  • Work closely with Inside Sales Representatives to identify qualified opportunities.
  • Prepare and prioritize sales plans to meet quotas.
  • Build and maintain the CRM Customer Database, tracking sales opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with UNICOM vendor partner sales representatives.
  • Develop and manage a forecast and pipeline for the territory.
  • Collaborate with Bids & Proposals to outline proposal details and generate professional proposals.
  • Collaborate with UNICOM resources to deliver customer solutions effectively.
  • Understand and communicate UNICOM's products and services, designing solutions to meet customer needs with presales engineers and solution specialists.
  • Experience selling solutions through Government contract vehicles like GWAC, IDIQ, and BPA contracts.
Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; experience may substitute for education.
  • 7-10 years of outside sales experience.
  • Experience selling to Federal, State, or Local governments is highly desirable.
  • Recent experience selling technology services and solutions is required.
  • Track record of quota attainment/overachievement required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong communication skills for internal and external interactions.
  • Knowledge of and experience with SalesForce.com is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Focused, driven, and motivated to increase business.
  • Availability for non-standard hours during peak times.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Technical certifications are a plus.

Travel Requirements: Travel to customer sites may be necessary.
