We are looking for a Claims Analyst and Underwriting Delegated Authority Analyst (m / f / d), based in Paris.

Your Team

We are committed to delivering on our claims promise. At Allianz Commercial, we aim to provide a superior claims experience to our customers: before, during, and after a loss. Our commitment to underwriting excellence supports our goal to deliver superior service and value.

The Impact You Will Have

Reporting to the Regional Head of Claims for the France & South Africa Region, you will enhance reports, claims data analyses, presentations, and tracking systems to support management in operational and strategic decisions. You will also contribute to claims projects and handle administrative tasks for the Regional Head. This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate closely with the Head of Specialty and the Specialty Team Underwriters in France, manage complex delegated arrangements, and play a pivotal role in audits.

Some of your specific responsibilities could include:

Claims:

  • Manage and analyze claims data and reports, ensuring consistency and quality across regional and global levels.
  • Extract and analyze claims statistics, loss runs, and trend reports to support strategic decision-making.
  • Serve as the point of contact for claims data, collaborating with various functions to ensure alignment and answer queries.
  • Draft presentations for leadership meetings and engage in ad-hoc tasks to support strategic analysis.
  • Coordinate with Global Performance Steering to maintain data consistency and escalate issues as needed.
  • Manage Delegated Authority agreements with Underwriters, including onboarding and oversight.
  • Support the audit process, ensuring delegated arrangements meet required standards.
  • Prepare governance reports for stakeholders, providing insights on binder performance and KPIs.
  • Review and track delegated arrangements from application to renewal for seamless processing.
  • Implement process improvements for efficient oversight of delegated agreements.
  • Act as a key contact, providing guidance on delegated authority matters.

What You’ll Bring to the Role

  • Experience in Corporate and Specialty Insurance Claims, with a solid understanding of claims processes and AGCS lines of business.
  • Proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written, with strong communication skills.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, and highly organized to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Confident communicator, adept at building relationships within and outside the company, with a service-oriented and positive team spirit.
  • Initiative-driven, able to suggest improvements to processes and systems, and comfortable handling remote relationships.
  • Agile and data-driven, with the ability to adapt to changing environments and work collaboratively.
  • A basic understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) and its potential applications in business is essential.
