Description du poste

We are looking for a Civil Technical Advisor (TSA) to join our HVDC team at Hitachi Energy France. The Civil TSA will be following various phases of construction of two HVDC Converter stations to ensure that all on-site construction / civil works carried out by the Consortium Partner or Customer are performed according to the contract as well as Hitachi Energys HVDC technical requirements and quality standards whilst fulfilling the schedule for handover to the installation of high voltage equipment.

Your responsibilities :

Follow-up on-site construction / civil works activities in alignment with project delivery schedule / activities performed by the Consortium Partner or Customer to ensure these are performed according to the contract as well as Hitachi Energys HVDC technical requirements and quality standards.

Advise the Consortium Partner or Customer about Hitachi Energys technical requirements or / and best practices according to Hitachi Energys experience and Lessons Learnt.

Witness Civil Works inspections according to the projects Inspection & Test Plan.

Follow-up the Projects execution schedule and ensure that all handover Milestones from the Consortium Partner or Customer to Hitachi Energy are done in time as well as highlight if these can be jeopardized by any delays verified during the works.

Record and raise Non-Conformity Reports (NCRs) internally to Hitachi Energy in the case of deviation observations in the execution of the works which shall then be dealt with according to applicable processes.

Report the status of development and eventual findings during the execution of the works.

Assess the Health Safety & Environment conditions on site and report to the Hitachi Energy Site Representative if these are deemed unsafe.

Engineering competence bachelors or MSc. degree in Civil engineering or related.

Minimum 5 years work experience in industrial projects. Experience in the energy sector is a plus.

Fluency in French Spanish and English both written and spoken. Required to be able to interact with various stakeholders.

Ready to work in an international and multicultural work environment.

Ability to work on site.
