Your role:

We are seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer to manage and administer subcontracts within HVDC sites. This role involves proactive commercial execution, management, and administration of all contracts and subcontracts for civil and installation projects.

How You Can Make an Impact:

• Proactive Management: Collaborate with the Contract Manager to ensure all contractual obligations are met.

• Cost Control: Identify and recover non-budgeted costs, manage payments, and report on costs related to claims and change orders.

• Performance Monitoring: Track subcontractor progress, performance, risks, and opportunities.

• Communication: Ensure timely and effective communication within the site and project teams.

• Quality Assurance: Promote and comply with company, country, and project quality standards.

• Health & Safety: Follow and promote company HSE policies throughout the project.

Your background:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a civil construction-related cost management role, ideally within the HVDC sector.

• Education: Degree in civil engineering, construction, cost management, or quantity surveying.

• Skills: Proven management skills for overseeing subcontractors on-site, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of construction industry technical matters, including various procurement routes, value management, and value engineering.

• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with project management and cost control tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
