Tencent is seeking a senior market expert to support overseas game portfolio studios in developing go-to-market strategies for China. This role involves analyzing market trends, designing marketing plans, managing partnerships, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in the game market and be fluent in both English and Mandarin.
Tencent Games’ Venture Lab supports Tencent’s third-party (minority stake) studios, working on a diverse range of titles across various genres. Our mission is to elevate these studios' potential from early development to independence by providing comprehensive advisory services across production, publishing, technology, and more.
What the Role Entails
As a senior market expert, you will assist overseas game portfolio studios in developing China G2M strategies, covering market positioning, user insights, localization, channel distribution, marketing, and partner collaboration. With deep expertise in China’s gaming policies, player preferences, and competitive landscape, you will help international teams mitigate risks, enhance localization success, and drive efficient cooperation with local partners.
