Mark3t.ai is a Paris-based startup redefining luxury resale through trust, technology, and community.

We are building a blockchain-authenticated, AI-powered marketplace where trust is measurable, reputations are rewarded, and luxury goods carry a verified digital identity. The platform integrates real-time scoring algorithms , AI-driven insights , and blockchain-based authentication to enable high-value transactions between buyers, sellers, and service vendors—securely and transparently.

With our Beta MVP under active development and funded directly , we’re preparing for launch and early market traction. We’re now seeking a growth-phase technical leader to evolve our architecture and help scale the platform through its next iterations and beyond.

Your Role

As CTO, you’ll partner closely with the founder to architect the next stage of Mark3t’s tech vision. You’ll oversee platform scaling, AI system deployment, and modular integration across real-time scoring, vendor ecosystems, and luxury services.

You won’t be responsible for building the MVP from scratch—but rather for refining, expanding, and future-proofing a Beta version platform that will already be live. Your strategic and technical leadership will help bring it from working product to intelligent, trusted infrastructure .

Your Profile

We’re seeking a hybrid of builder, strategist, and team leader who thrives in startup environments. A team player who is comfortable in autonomy but can lead others as we grow.

Requirements

• Proven experience scaling real-time web platforms (startup or freelance accepted)
• Understanding of AI / ML workflows and comfort collaborating with algorithm designers
• Familiarity with big data architecture (structured / unstructured pipelines, streaming systems)
• Full-stack ability ( Node.js , Next.js , React , PostgreSQL , MongoDB , Redis )
• Deployment experience on DigitalOcean , AWS , or similar (Docker, GitHub Actions, CI / CD)
• Excellent communication, documentation, and remote team collaboration skills
• You may be early-career, but you must be coachable, responsible, dependable, and deeply curious

Bonus Skills

• Exposure to ZKPs , digital identity, or decentralized storage (IPFS)
• Familiarity with tokenomics or loyalty point systems
• Experience working with luxury , fashion, or high-net-worth UX
• Experience with 2+ successful company exits
• Awareness of privacy-forward tools (e.g., ZKPs, encryption protocols)

Key Responsibilities

• Refine, modularize, and scale the existing MVP / Beta architecture for long-term growth
• Collaborate with algorithm partners on our proprietary AI scoring system
• Manage real-time ingestion of user, transaction, and service data
• Translate scoring logic into platform features (trust tiers, seller visibility, royalties)
• Optimize infrastructure for performance, security, and data flow integrity
• Build out dashboards and internal tools to track activity, reputation, and platform health
• Contribute to technical pitch materials and due diligence documentation for investors
• Prepare our stack for growth-phase hires and integrations (shipping, insurance, vendors)

Equity-First Model with Buy-Back Safety

Equity Structure

• 6 month trial period to allow you to adjust and decide if we are a good fit.
• 1% equity granted upon signing , with a reverse vesting clause (buy-back option if we part ways)
• Up to 4% total based on milestone delivery and strategic contribution

Milestone-Based Vesting

• Linked to our backend scaling, AI scoring system deployment, and team transition readiness
• If the partnership ends but the company succeeds, we may repurchase your earned equity at our current valuation

Future Compensation

• Transition to a paid CTO or Tech Lead role post-funding (target : post-beta / early traction)

No “phantom equity.” You are an owner from day one—with protection and transparency.

First 6 Months – What Success Looks Like

• Beta fully stabilized, with beta user onboarding live at 100 users
• Trust system + authentication flows integrated (blockchain)

Timeline

Week 1-3 : Within the first month, if you proceed to the next step, we’ll schedule a chat with our founder Nicole and interim CTO, Thomas (CET time).

Week 4-6 : Your candidacy is then subject to consideration by our Advisors / Investors and can take several weeks, but should be fairly speedy.
