Freedom Digital Bank France is seeking an experienced Chief Risk Officer to establish and lead the risk-management function. The CRO will provide independent oversight across credit, liquidity, market, operational, technology, cybersecurity, and outsourcing risks, aligning risk appetite with strategy and capital needs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of risk management experience in digital banking or regulated financial institutions.
• Previous CRO or senior risk leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of ERM, risk frameworks and French/EU regulatory expectations.
• Fluent in French and English.

Responsabilités

• Establish and lead the independent risk management function for Freedom Digital Bank France.
• Develop and implement the enterprise risk management framework (ERM).
• Define risk taxonomy, appetite framework, limits and monitoring.
• Identify, assess, monitor and report material risks across the bank.
• Oversee credit, liquidity, market, operational, technology, cybersecurity, outsourcing and concentration risks.
• Develop risk policies, procedures, methodologies and controls.
• Prepare risk reporting for senior management, Board committees and the Board.
• Engage with regulators and support authorisation and supervision activities.
