Korn Ferry is partnering with a leading European Insurtech company that provides premium B2C & B2B2C premium services.

With over 20 years of market expertise and a solid reputation, our client is a growing company with ambitious plans to scale and expand its presence across Europe.

Supported by a European investment firm, and having recently raised +€100M, the company aims to accelerate growth in its current markets (France, Belgium, Germany, Spain, and Italy) and drive its international expansion.

The company employs more than 500 people across Europe and enjoys high staff retention.

Position Overview

The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) is a key strategic leadership position, responsible for leading all marketing activities across Europe, branding, off and online communication and campaigns, offering, market insights and client acquisition.

The CMO will work in very close cooperation with the sales and the R&D teams, to ensure the highest rate of client conversion and the best online customer journey.

S/he will be joining the company at a critical inflection point where there is already a strong track record, market leadership and momentum for expansion, with the focus now firmly on scaling the business further.

S/he will manage a team of +20 colleagues and turn it into a best-in-class organization to drive rapid growth and opportunity through the continued international expansion phase.

S/he will report into the CEO and will be a member of the Executive Committee.

Key Requirements

  • Successful experience gained in a digital environment, in a high-growth and international business,
  • Experience leading and driving marketing teams across the different dimensions of marketing, including branding, acquisition and insights,
  • Data driven and highly familiar with implementing the right tools and methodologies for his teams to be successful,
  • Demonstrable track record of implementing successful, sophisticated multi-channel integrated marketing campaigns, off and online,
  • Experience with M&A is beneficial,
  • English is mandatory for this role; French is a plus but not required

Location

The CMO can be based anywhere in France or Europe and should travel to the group’s headquarters in France as needed.
