Job Description:

We are seeking a Chief Flight Instructor (Ab Initio) & Project Manager (m/f) for our Commercial Aircraft division to join the Airbus Training Services Department in Toulouse, France.

You will join the Ab-Initio program.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and standardize flight instructors, excluding Theoretical Knowledge Instructors, and oversee local standardization staff.
  • Guide recruitment and validation of instructors and part-timers.
  • Represent the Head of Training within the Airbus Flight Academy(s).
  • Develop dedicated MPL courses and update existing training programs and courseware.
  • Manage flight training projects from inception to deployment.
  • Oversee MPL programs and the Airbus Flight Academy Program proactively.
  • Identify opportunities for training enhancement and coordinate with relevant departments.
  • Ensure quality and compliance of training delivery, and maintain operational data for decision-making.
  • Align local programs with regulatory standards and Airbus policies.
  • Develop new training initiatives and maintain client training activities.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, authorities, and stakeholders, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Extensive flight instruction and flight examiner experience (FE/CRE).
  • Knowledge of national aviation authority regulations and relationships with authorities.
  • Proven project management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English and another language.
  • Ability to work under pressure, adapt to change, and solve complex problems independently.
