The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in a senior financial role, preferably in technology, and possess strong operational and analytical skills. This position offers the opportunity to lead a finance team and make strategic recommendations to the executive team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all finance functions, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, tax, and treasury.
• Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and executive team based on financial analysis and projections.
• Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate financial statements and reports.
• Manage relationships with auditors, banks, investors, and other financial stakeholders.
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and capital requirements; ensure optimal capital structure.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks; implement robust risk management frameworks.
• Lead the finance team by setting clear objectives, mentoring staff, and building high-performing teams.
• Support operational departments with financial insights and performance analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
• Proven experience in a previous CFO office as finance director or directly reporting to a senior financial leadership role (5+ years).
• Experience as CFO, or significant experience as number 2 of finance, in a technology company.
• Strong knowledge of corporate finance with knowledge of cross-border entities.
• Strong exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Proficient in financial software and analytical software.

We expect the person to be able to build this function, with very strong operational and analytical skills. The post is based in Paris.
