Euronext in Paris, France seeks a Head of Engineering – Digital Assets to lead the technical architecture, set engineering standards, and guide the build of tokenised market infrastructure with the CEDS Digital Asset team. Reporting to the CTO Digital Assets, you will drive the platform launch and ensure robust, scalable systems.

You will own end-to-end architecture for digital asset solutions, design cross-chain topology, and define on-chain compliance models, including regulated security-token

Qualifications

• Seven+ years of solution architecture experience with at least three years in DLT or blockchain projects.
• Deep knowledge of distributed systems, DLT architecture, EVM and permissioned chains.
• Hands-on understanding of token standards for regulated securities, on-chain compliance, and smart-contract security.
• Proven secure-architecture and threat-modelling skills for high-value financial systems operating 24×7 with zero downtime.
• Working knowledge of capital-markets settlement (DvP, CSD, CCP/clearing).
• Player-coach leadership style, calm under pressure, and excellent stakeholder-management skills.
• Degree in computer science, engineering or related field; cloud or blockchain certifications are a plus.
• Required: AI engineering skills with the ability to specify AI-in-product capabilities and risk controls.

Responsabilités

• Own end-to-end architecture for digital asset solutions, combining distributed ledger technology with traditional market infrastructure.
• Design cross-chain topology, permissioned institutional chains (Hyperledger Besu, Canton) and public DeFi chains (Ethereum, Layer-2).
• Define on-chain compliance models including regulated security-token standards (ERC-3643, T-REX), KYC whitelisting, AML screening, and transaction reporting.
• Architect custody and key management using MPC solutions (Fireblocks, Taurus).
• Set standards for code quality, review, testing, and secure-by-design delivery.
• Lead threat modelling and security architecture until a dedicated security lead is available.
• Plan and lead team evolution from build to run, making build/buy/partner decisions with Product.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, legal, regulatory, clearing, CSD, and client groups to align business objectives with regulatory frameworks (DLT Pilot Regime, MiFIDII, MiCA).
• Maintain hands-on responsibility for incidents and highest-risk components.
• Define and lead an AI-augmented software-delivery process, establish guardrails, review gates, and select tooling.
