Invenex Search is currently retained with a precision oncology biotech based in France who are pioneering a unique survivor-driven approach to cancer biology. Backed by top-tier investors, they're building a bold pipeline powered by translational data science and deep biological insights. The company is looking for a Chief Development Officer to lead their drug development strategy from early clinical design.

Responsibilities:

• Lead clinical development strategy across all programs (early and late-stage).
• Drive IND/CTA submissions, clinical trial design, and regulatory interactions.
• Oversee cross-functional development teams (Clinical Ops, Regulatory, Medical).
• Integrate translational science, biomarker strategy, and patient data into program design.
• Build external partnerships with CROs, academic collaborators, and pharma.
• Represent the company with regulators, board members, and investors.

Experience Required:

• MD, PhD, or equivalent in Oncology, Immunology, or Molecular Biology.
• 15+ years in biotech or biopharma with hands-on oncology drug development leadership.
• Deep understanding of translational and clinical science integration.
• Track record in successfully advancing programs through key development milestones.
• Strong leadership in a startup or early-growth company environment preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and strategic communication skills.
