Job summary

Freedom Digital Bank France is seeking a Head of Compliance to establish and lead the local compliance function. You will develop the compliance framework, oversee AML/KYC, transaction monitoring and regulatory reporting, and work with senior management to ensure ongoing adherence to French and EU requirements.

As part of the founding executive team, you will guide regulatory authorisation efforts and ensure strong governance across risk, legal, product and technology teams, promoting a robust

Qualifications

• 10+ years of compliance experience in digital banking, fintech, or related financial services.
• Experience as Head of Compliance or CCO or equivalent senior role.
• In-depth knowledge of French and EU banking and financial-services regulation.
• Strong engagement with ACPR, AMF, TRACFIN and other regulators.
• Full professional fluency in French and English, including regulatory documentation in French.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead the compliance function for Freedom Digital Bank France.
• Develop and maintain the local compliance framework and governance.
• Lead the regulatory authorisation workstream and oversee AML/KYC, sanctions and monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with ACPR, AMF, EBA and EU requirements per product scope.
• Review products, partnerships and outsourcing from a compliance perspective.
• Interact with regulators and coordinate regulatory reporting and inspections.
