Qualifications

• Au moins 12 ans d'expérience en robotique ou dans un domaine connexe, avec une solide formation en mécatronique.
• Expérience approfondie en développement de logiciels embarqués et intégration.
• Minimum de 10 ans dans un rôle de leadership avec des équipes techniques interfonctionnelles.
• Capacité à anticiper et s'adapter aux évolutions technologiques.

Responsabilités

• Développer et maintenir une vision technologique claire alignée sur les objectifs de l'entreprise.
• Superviser la conception et la mise en œuvre des systèmes mécaniques, électroniques, de gestion du trafic et logiciels embarqués.
• Définir la feuille de route technologique des solutions de robotique pour Exotec.

Reporting directly to our CTO, your main mission is to create the best robotics solution for the warehouses in the World.

Your Challenges To Achieve

• Develop and maintain a clear technological vision aligned with the company's goal.
• Oversee the design and implementation of mechanical, electrical, electronic, traffic management and embedded software systems
• Improve the quality of our products and services
• Define the technological roadmap of the robotics solutions for Exotec
• Ensure integration of new technologies into existing products
• Ensure coordination of Architect resources and practices in the Company
• Establish and maintain the right external technical collaborations
• Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within technical teams
• Support managers in developing technical teams
  
  

Technicals Perimeters To Coordinate

Mechanics, Electronics, Robotics software, machine learning for vision, and Traffic management software

Technical Environment

• Programming language : C, C++
• OS : Linux and realtime distribution like Yocto linux and its embedded board integration
• Network : Ethernet, Wi-Fi , CAN (CAN Open)
• Electrical : Motor control, Optical for image sensor, BMS
• Location algorithm : SLAM, Kalman filter
• Fleet management algorithm : Multi-Agent Pathfinding
• IA/Machine learning : python, image processing, vision
• Safety design : ISO 13849 ; IEC 61508
  
  

Requirements

• At least 12 years of experience in robotics or a related field, with a strong background in mechatronics
• Extensive experience with embedded software development and integration
• Minimum of 10 years in a leadership role with cross-functional technical teams
• Experience in leading large-scale projects from conception to completion
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop technical talent
• Experience in developing and executing technology roadmaps
• Proven ability to anticipate and adapt to technological shifts and market changes
• Strong interpersonal skills with experience in fostering collaboration across diverse teams
• Excellent communication, engage, and inspire
• English & French, both written and verbal
