Job summary

Crown Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Wastewater/Facilities Operator at Plant Hanover to operate and maintain the washer/coater and wastewater treatment processes, ensuring regulatory compliance and equipment reliability.

The role involves 12-hour rotating shifts 5pm–5am with mandatory overtime, night differential of $2/hr, and opportunities to contribute to process improvements while maintaining safety.

Qualifications

• Understand statistics and quality specifications.
• Ability to read and interpret monitoring gauges.
• Understand chemical handling procedures and SDS usage.
• Basic pumps and fluid handling systems knowledge.
• Basic mechanical and computer skills.
• Basic math calculations.
• Willing to work alternate schedules including overtime.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the washer/wash coat system.
• Operate and maintain coolant filtration system.
• Monitor and operate wastewater treatment system.
• Perform process quality checks and maintain lab equipment.
• Prepare manifests and waste disposal readiness.
• Monitor water systems including DI and RO.
• Document activities in logbooks for team communication.
• Coordinate with leadership on maintenance needs.
