About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced leader to oversee the construction scope of medium-sized capital projects, ensuring project performance and compliance. This role involves leading project execution, managing teams, and collaborating across departments to deliver successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reviewing designs for constructability and coordinating with project leadership
  • Managing construction contractors and stakeholders
  • Monitoring and reporting on project performance indicators
  • Identifying and mitigating project risks
  • Ensuring compliance activities are proactively managed
  • Analyzing budget and cost variations
  • Collaborating with commissioning and operational teams for a smooth transition post-construction
  • Developing and managing team performance to meet objectives
Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in chemical engineering, industrialization, manufacturing, or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading project teams within large projects
  • Strong leadership skills and safety culture
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in French and English
