Greenvolt Next France is looking for a Photovoltaic Project Manager to join its team. The Project Manager is responsible for the successful execution of their project(s), ensuring contractual objectives are met while maintaining good relationships with stakeholders. Reporting to the Construction Manager, they will manage their projects independently, from the construction phase to commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-project phase (pre- and post-sales):
- Coordinate with the Engineering Office to ensure accurate analysis of the photovoltaic potential and relevant technical proposals.
- Supervise external service providers (architects, topographic surveys, soil studies, utility detection, asbestos diagnostics, etc.) in coordination with the Engineering Office and the Procurement Department.
- Initiate, negotiate, and obtain urban planning permits in collaboration with the relevant authorities, architects, and the DREAL.
- Oversee all procedures related to grid connection: liaise with grid operators and the Engineering Office (especially to secure feed-in tariffs or self-consumption premiums in accordance with current regulations).
- Understand and apply contractual and legal requirements (contracts, lease options, etc.).
- Prepare applications for feed-in tariff or additional remuneration contracts, depending on the project type, in coordination with the Engineering Office.
- Develop a detailed project timeline in collaboration with stakeholders (clients, subcontractors, etc.).
Construction phase:
- Represent the project owner during the construction phase.
- Supervise and/or draft technical specifications and procurement documentation (DCE) in coordination with the Engineering Office and Procurement, integrating client contractual clauses into supplier specifications.
- Select suppliers for the construction and operation of photovoltaic power plants, in coordination with Procurement.
- Ensure QHSE/Cost/Timeline compliance during the construction phase through to commissioning and grid connection, adhering to budget (CAPEX monitoring) and schedule.
- Produce regular internal reports.
- Coordinate with building owners’ technical teams, service providers (Engineering Office, Project Managers, Roofers, Electricians, Equipment Suppliers, etc.), and control bodies (safety coordinators, fire department, verification offices, etc.).
- Organize the commissioning of the power plant.
Operation phase:
- Organize and supervise the operational phase until all contractual obligations are fulfilled.
Cross-functional tasks (non-exhaustive):
- Stay informed about innovative market solutions.
- Contribute to the development or improvement of construction-related processes.
- Support the continuous improvement of the construction department.
Requirements:
- Degree equivalent to Bac+5 (Master’s or Engineering School); a specialization in energy, electricity, or mechanics is a plus.
- Experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of the energy market.
- Ideally, 5 years of experience as a Project Manager and 1 year in Renewable Energy.
- Proven experience in construction project management.
- Positive leadership and adaptability.
- Strong sense of responsibility and high proactivity.
- Excellent team spirit and collaboration skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel throughout France.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
