Institution Description:
Mariners ensure the safety and protection of French maritime space 24/7 across all oceans and seas. They undertake missions involving intelligence, prevention, intervention, protection, and deterrence, operating at sea, on land, and in the air, with a force of 40,000 personnel.
Work Environment:
The Cherbourg support grouping of the commissariat (GSC) is part of the Armed Forces Commissariat Service (SCA), primarily tasked with supporting various units within its geographic area.
Based within the Performance Synthesis Division (PS) and reporting directly to its head and the GSC commander, the Head of the Steering / Internal Control Office is responsible for implementing the integrated management system (SMI), which includes internal control, management control, and quality assurance, ensuring that GSC activities are well-managed and support performance is satisfactory.
The main mission of the Steering / Internal Control Office, supported by decision-making tools such as dashboards and indicators, is to provide objective and reliable data on the quality of support to the GSC chief and the SCA domain experts.
