Key Results / Accountabilities

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Develop awareness of the MG brand in the assigned area.
  • Focus on market development following the phases outlined in the European launch strategy.
  • Identify and contact potential candidates and private investors.
  • Negotiate agreements to develop a consistent network within your area.
  • Negotiate sales targets with distributors on an annual, quarterly, and monthly basis.
  • Collaborate with dealers to develop marketing and action plans, focusing on recruitment and training of sales personnel.
  • Manage distributor relationships to meet sales targets.
  • Oversee invoicing processes and minimize overdue payments, managing financial plans with dealers.
  • Gather product information to support product management aligned with French market requirements.
  • Visit partners such as leasing companies, fleet owners, and key accounts to promote MG and support growth.
  • Report regional KPIs and market trends to SAIC MOTOR France managers.
  • Handle administrative tasks including weekly reports, forecasts, and marketing plans.
Experience, Educational Background & Expertise
  • Established network within France’s distributor and sales partner landscape.
  • Strong background in automotive products.
  • Sales-oriented with an understanding of diverse customer perceptions.
  • Proficient in MS Office and capable of working across multiple languages and cultures.
  • Native French speaker and fluent in English (business level); all internal communications will be in English.
  • Independent worker, self-starter with high flexibility in time and location.
  • Valid driving license.
Location and Travel
  • Based in France.
  • Approximately 80% travel required.
