Job Title: Engineering Services Manager

Position Type: Permanent

Responsibilities:

  • Work autonomously on contract bid invitations.
  • Provide autonomous leadership for a multi-site logistics business startup project.
  • Lead and coordinate project teams.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative logistics flow chain optimization studies within their field of expertise.
Scope of Activities
  • Coordinate teams in the framework of calls for tenders, including understanding customer needs, analyzing specifications, and engaging with customers through meetings and visits.
  • Construct logistics solutions to respond to projects.
  • Develop sales strategies with sales teams.
  • Mobilize and coordinate various company participants involved in responses (sales, quality, security, HR, finance, IS, legal, etc.).
  • Validate technical and financial dimensioning.
  • Participate in presenting bids to customers and negotiations.
  • Lead the start-up of new activities and manage the implementation of designed solutions, including resource definition, ordering, and testing (HR, storage, logistics equipment, IS, etc.).
  • Analyze and resolve encountered problems.
  • Coordinate the implementation of procedures, training, reporting tools, and KPIs.
  • Support operational teams by analyzing problems, developing solutions, and monitoring actions.
  • Conduct technology watch on new logistics processes and techniques.
  • Perform studies to optimize storage, flows, and organization at customer and group sites.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative logistics flow chain studies, including data analysis and interpretation from a rationalization and optimization perspective.
  • Carry out operational audits on logistics flow chains.
  • Support the implementation of new logistics systems and conduct investment studies (ROI, etc.).
  • Adapt activities for employees on work-study placements to align with their training.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Address and process QSE alerts reported by staff.
  • Ensure the team has necessary skills through training and qualifications.
  • Support the development of QSE maturity within the sector.
