Job Title: Engineering Services Manager

Type: Permanent

Responsibilities:

  • Work autonomously on contract bid invitations.
  • Provide autonomous leadership for a multi-site logistics business startup project.
  • Lead and coordinate project teams.
  • Conduct logistics flow chain optimization studies within their expertise.
Scope of Activities
  • Coordinate teams during calls for tenders by understanding customer needs, analyzing specifications, and conducting customer visits.
  • Construct logistics solutions to respond to projects.
  • Develop sales strategies with sales teams.
  • Mobilize and coordinate various company participants for responses, including sales, quality, security, HR, finance, IS, and legal teams.
  • Validate technical and financial dimensions of bids.
  • Participate in presenting bids and negotiations with customers.
  • Lead the start-up of new activities, including managing project teams and ensuring resource allocation (HR, storage, logistics equipment, IS, etc.).
  • Analyze and solve operational problems, implement procedures, and monitor performance using KPIs.
  • Support operational teams by analyzing problems, solutions, and action plans; monitor implementation.
  • Conduct technology watch on new logistics processes and techniques.
  • Perform logistics process studies for optimization at customer and group sites.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative logistics flow chain studies, data analysis, and interpretation for optimization goals.
  • Carry out operational audits and support new logistics system implementations.
  • Conduct logistics investment studies, including ROI calculations.

Note: Activities are adapted for employees on work-study placements to align with their training.

  • Address and process QSE alerts reported by staff.
  • Ensure team skills meet position requirements through training and qualifications.
  • Support the development of QSE maturity within the sector.

Experience required: More than 7 years
