As a Chef De Partie at Crazy Pizza, you will be an essential member of the kitchen team, responsible for running a specific section of the kitchen. You’ll work alongside the Sous Chef and Head Chef, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to Crazy Pizza’s high standards.

Your day to day:

  • Manage your assigned kitchen section with precision, ensuring all dishes are prepared and presented to brand standards.
  • Ensure mise en place is fully prepared, ingredients are fresh and available, and service runs smoothly and efficiently at all times.
  • Check the quality and consistency of all food before it leaves the pass, maintaining high standards of taste, appearance, and portioning.
  • Enforce strict food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness protocols in your section in line with Crazy Pizza’s policies and local regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to report issues, suggest improvements, and contribute to new menu ideas when required.
  • Monitor stock levels in your section, ensure proper rotation of ingredients, and flag any shortages or reordering needs to senior chefs.

Who are you?

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie, ideally in an Italian restaurant or a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong understanding of Italian cuisine, particularly pizza-making and other traditional Italian dishes
  • Ability to run a section of the kitchen independently while maintaining high standards of quality, cleanliness, and efficiency
  • Ability to work as part of a team, communicate clearly, and follow instructions.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant’s schedule.
