We are looking for a dynamic and committed Head of Finance and Administration ready to fully engage in supporting our rapid growth. You will be responsible for financial management, including management control, accounting, invoicing, and payments, as well as fundraising processes, administrative management, human resources, and legal aspects. You will work closely with the CEO to ensure the company’s financial solidity while structuring internal processes to support its development. You will manage a team consisting of a management controller, an administrative manager, and a recruitment specialist.

Main Responsibilities :

  1. Financial Management
    1. Management Control : Defining cozycozy's financial strategy in collaboration with the CEO and creating budgets. Implementing and supervising a rigorous internal financial control system to ensure the reliability of financial information. Working closely on the development and monitoring of business plans. Ensuring financial performance meets forecasts, identifying variances, proposing adjustments, and communicating effectively with teams to meet objectives. Implementing effective financial reporting tools and tracking key performance indicators.
    2. Accounting and Cash Management : Supervising the company’s accounting management in collaboration with our external accountant. Preparing financial documents (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements) following French legal and accounting standards. Managing monthly and annual financial closings, ensuring the accuracy of accounts and reports. Preparing and monitoring tax declarations, including VAT, ensuring compliance with the company's legal obligations. Managing the company's cash flow and analyzing variances from forecasts.
  2. Sales and Purchases Administration : Supervising client invoicing and closely monitoring payments, ensuring deadlines are met and information is accurate. Overseeing debt collection efforts to optimize receivables management. Handling supplier payments, ensuring deadlines are met. Setting up tracking reports to analyze performance and sales status.
  3. Fundraising and Investor Relations : Leading the search for financing (fundraising, loans, grants, etc.) to support the company's growth. Preparing detailed reports and presentations for investors and the board of directors. Managing relationships with investors, banks, and other financial institutions.
  4. Administrative and Legal Management : Defining and optimizing administrative processes. Managing relationships with service providers (insurance, health insurance providers, landlords, etc.). Working with external legal advisors to handle legal matters and ensure the company’s compliance with legal obligations. Ensuring compliance with legal, social, and fiscal obligations, and tracking regulatory deadlines.
  5. Human Resources and Team Management : Managing payroll, employment contracts, social declarations, and HR processes, ensuring compliance with legal obligations. Supporting managers in recruitment according to development priorities. Organizing quarterly team reviews, and setting objectives in collaboration with managers and the CEO. Managing and developing the Finance / HR team, consisting of a management controller, an administrative manager, and a recruitment specialist.
  • Qualifications :
    1. Education & Experience : A Master’s degree (Bac+5) from a business school, MBA, or equivalent. 5 to 10 years of successful experience in management control or a similar position, ideally within a startup environment.
    2. Skills : Excellent skills in management control and financial analysis, with in-depth knowledge of accounting standards and legal obligations. Being recognized for your operational vision, organization, reliability, and ability to focus on details while maintaining a high level of rigor. Having an entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to innovate and adapt in a fast-evolving environment. Proven ability to manage a team, motivate, and develop the skills of your colleagues. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. Fluent in English.
