The Site Supervisor's primary function is to organize and accurately report on the safe and efficient execution of their designated installation scope, working collaboratively with the Senior Site Supervisor / Team Leader and Site Manager.
The Site Supervisor serves as the first point of contact and escalation for subcontractors working on behalf of Dematic. They are responsible for establishing and maintaining appropriate site conditions to facilitate a right-first-time, zero-defects installation at the agreed rate of progress.

Tasks and Qualifications:
Key Responsibilities:
- Educate subcontractor teams on safety knowledge and hazard perception, promote positive safety conversations, and document these observations. Act as a safety role model promoting a One Dematic safety culture and right-first-time installation.
- Monitor adherence to RAMS by installers, provide supervision where risks are increased, and produce timely, accurate reports using cloud-based tools (Gensuite) on progress and notable events.
- Organize and supervise on-site installation activities, ensuring safety and quality compliance throughout the project lifecycle, and perform regular quality checks using the QMS cloud-based reporting tool.
- Collaborate with the Site Manager in drafting the Site Installation Plan.
- Serve as the first contact for safety and technical issues on site, working across functions such as Engineering and Project Management.
- Recommend and identify opportunities for process optimization and undertake improvement initiatives.
- Identify and report energy and resource waste, implementing onsite improvements to minimize waste.
- Follow ONE DEMATIC standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years industry-relevant experience including supervision at a similar grade.
- Self-driven with a desire to progress within Dematic, maintaining high standards and discipline.
- Experience managing subcontractors and effective communication skills.
- Recognized apprenticeship in a mechanical/electrical discipline or equivalent.
- Knowledge of statutory regulations and standards relevant to the market.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Hold safety certifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Creative and flexible problem-solving approach.
- Ability to forecast and coordinate project interdependencies.
