This is a hugely varied geographical area providing community based services from Baggot Street in the city centre of Dublin to Carnew in South Wicklow. These services are delivered through the HSE, and its funded agencies, to people in local communities, as close as possible to people’s homes.

Location of the Post: There are currently two permanent, part time / full-time vacancies available in Leopardstown Primary Care Centre, Co Dublin.

Work related tasks may be required to be carried out in a variety of locations including in clinical, home, community and school settings.

A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign for Health & Social Care Assistant (Therapy Assistant) within Children’s Disability Network Team IHA Dublin South & Wicklow from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled.

Purpose of the Post: The purpose of the Health & Social Care Assistant role is to carry out delegated aspects of client care and provide assistance to Occupational Therapists or Physiotherapists or Speech & Language Therapists or other Health & Social Care Professionals in the Children’s Disability Network Team.

The Health & Social Care Assistant will work under the direction of a supervising Health & Social Care Professional.
