Job Title: Chase Boat Captain
We are currently looking for an experienced Chase Boat Captain to join a private and very light charter motor yacht, ideally with a B1/B2 visa already in hand due to time timescales, unless you can get a B1/B2 appointment between now and November.
In this role, you will be responsible for a 47ft custom chase boat fitted with three inboard props, spending approximately 80%-90% of your time on the chase boat, while sleeping aboard the mothership which is 80M+. We would also consider candidates who hold their Officer of the Watch (OOW) ticket, or are very close to completing it- if you already hold your OOW, you would additionally join the mothership's bridge team and complete navigational watches. A watersports background - kitesurfing, wing foiling, or similar - would be a real advantage.
The mothership is currently in the yard in France with plans to cross to the Caribbean in November. The team is keen to meet the chosen candidate so you would spend a week in France, and we're looking to fill this role as soon as possible, ideally within a week to ten days.
This is a heavy chase boat so we're looking for someone mature and experienced, who is confident and comfortable handling large, powerful chase boats. As this is a strongly guest-facing role, you'll need to be passionate, engaging, and genuinely enjoy interacting with guests.
The programme is mainly private, with only 1-2 weeks of charter in the Mediterranean each season. You'll be joining a great team with a strong existing team spirit, working alongside a multinational crew.
Ideally, we're looking for someone discreet with no visible tattoos.
