We are recruiting for our site in Bourg-lès-Valence a Technical Support Officer.

As a Technical Support Officer, you are a vital part of our team, dedicated to providing high-level technical support to our company members and the group who interact with clients.

You will be responsible for creating and maintaining spare parts, kits, and essential documents in SAP to ensure the quality and maintenance of our products, as well as training our teams on these critical activities.

Under the direct supervision of the Engineering Manager, you will join our project teams, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to both existing products and ongoing innovations.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Provide second-level technical support to Atlas Copco group members, answering questions about spare parts, kits, and support information related to service and maintenance of products.
  2. Analyze design and assembly process changes applied to products and translate them into spare parts, kits, and support documents for series or obsolete phases.
  3. Identify needs for special tools for assembly and disassembly of spare parts, and design, modify, and produce these tools to ensure performance.
  4. Write or contribute to second-level investigation reports for product and/or service claims under warranty, and participate in quality review meetings of claim cases.
  5. Analyze product faults in serial life and their impact on service and maintenance, communicating this information during the early phases of product projects.
  6. Collect project output data related to spare parts, kits, and support documents to ensure a smooth transition to serial life phase.

Desired Profile:

  1. You hold a diploma of higher technician or a Bac +3 level in mechanical/electrical engineering or equivalent. Junior profiles are accepted.
  2. Your passion for mechanics is reflected in your technical knowledge.
  3. You have professional proficiency in English, enabling international collaboration.
  4. Ideally, you have some experience with software such as CREO, Office, and SAP.
  5. Your methodical approach and ability to solve problems clearly and analytically, along with your teamwork skills, make you a valuable asset to our company.
