Support IT Specialist (Linux, Security, Storage)

As an IT support specialist, you will be part of the general IT support team with a specialization in Linux L2, Security L2, and Storage.

The team provides local IT support to employees across all sites in France, ensures alignment of IT standards between Dassault Systèmes offices, and manages integration projects for newly acquired companies.

Travel within France and occasionally across Europe may be required.

Responsibilities

1. Sustain and actively support the local IT infrastructure, with a focus on Linux environments, while prioritizing user experience.
2. Participate in technical reviews, provide recommendations, and serve as a technical lead on regional projects.
3. Maintain IT standards, respond to hardware and software requests, troubleshoot Level 1 and 2 issues, and propose solutions to users both in-office and remote (home, travel, or other sites).
4. Possess a background as an Engineer or in Computer Science, with prior experience in Linux support.
5. Automate production environments using scripting languages such as Bash, Python, Go, or PowerShell.
6. Knowledge of cloud technologies (e.g., Ansible, Salt, Chef, Docker, Kubernetes) is a significant advantage.
7. Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and a customer service mindset.
8. Have knowledge of SAN, NAS, NetApp, Windows, Linux, VMware, Git, GitLab, and automation tools.
9. Proficiency in English is essential.
