The Pricing, Tender & Contracting department at Medtronic France plays a crucial role in defining and optimizing our pricing offers and commercial contracts, as well as our bid response strategies. This dynamic and diverse team works closely with operational units and the Pricing EMEA teams to develop competitive and compliant offers, ensuring that all proposals and prices align with the company's pricing strategy and the legal and regulatory framework.

In a constantly evolving environment, the department is at the heart of strategic decisions, directly contributing to Medtronic's growth and market performance. It must anticipate sector pricing dynamics and emerging trends in business models and commercial practices.

Within this context, the Pricing, Contracting & Tender department is recruiting at the France headquarters in Paris for a position of a Monitoring and Economic Intelligence Officer. Within the Strategic Pricing & Revenue Management team, you will be responsible for developing and enriching a mechanism for collecting and processing competitive intelligence and economic monitoring information.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Conduct in-depth research on competitors, market trends, and business practices
• Analyze collected data and turn it into actionable insights for the company
• Maintain a comprehensive database of competitor information, including products, market shares, and marketing strategies
• Analyze bid results to understand reasons for successes and failures
• Prepare detailed reports on bid outcomes, including strengths and weaknesses of submitted proposals
• Identify improvement opportunities for future submissions based on feedback and post-tender notifications
• Provide intelligence reports and recommendations based on competitive analysis
• Identify potential threats and opportunities in the market
• Present results to operational leaders and pricing teams, suggesting strategic planning options
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and other departments to develop strategies based on competitive intelligence
• Participate in developing pricing and tender strategies to maximize profitability and competitiveness
• Monitor industry news and developments to stay updated on market trends and changes
• Contribute to developing competitive positioning strategies and market decision-making based on intelligence results

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in marketing, economics, economic intelligence, or related field
• Additional training in data analysis or project management is a plus
• Previous experience in economic intelligence, market analysis, or similar roles
• Experience in the medical or pharmaceutical sector is an asset
• Excellent research and data analysis skills
• Ability to interpret complex data and present it clearly and concisely
• Communication and presentation skills
• Knowledge of market analysis tools and software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
